    Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience with trying to titrate someone's DBS for PD-related diplopia. Would trying to do this differ in any way from just trying to optimize their PD-related symptoms in general.

It appears that there are several literature articles indicating that use of DBS helps patients with their diplopia, and a pt is asking and/or trying to determine if their DBS is already providing maximal benefit in this regard.

    thanks,

    Nathan

Since the convergence centers are not anywhere near the areas that receive deep brain stimulation (I hate most abbreviations) it is unlikely that you can "titrate" DBS for help with convergence if that is what is causing his or her's diplopia.
