I have a patient who had sequential NAION in the past and now on GLP-1 agonist. I did not tell her to stop due to her HbA1c going down from 13 to 7.3 AND our current belief NAION does not recur in the same eye. What would you recommend?

While on the subject, despite recent review article and other papers not showing linkage between GLP-1 agonist and NAION, the incidence of NAION I have been seeing has at least doubled this past year, and 80% of them have been on GLP-1 agonist. I’m curious to see whether anyone else has had the similar experience.
