Our own Dr Larry Frohman has reviewed the material and shares another pearl- see below.
Hope this is helpful to those who are interested but could not attend and also as review material for the many that did attend.
Best,

Per Dr Frohman:
For Independent Medical Exams (IME):
My letters all begin with:
"You have asked me to perform a neuro-ophthalmic IME on XXXX
This IME will be restricted to the visual and vision-related issues in this case."
And my last paragraph is always
"These thoughts are my own, and do not represent those of any agency or society of which I am a member. These statements are made with a reasonable degree of medical certainty. I reserve the right to modify this report should additional relevant materials be brought to my attention. No doctor-patient relationship has been established via this IME."
This last line is particularly important for our members who are not self-employed, and especially important for academics who may use their academic title (I do not in my medicolegal work, as my university forbids it)
