    Hi all,

I’ve had so much trouble getting dalfampridine for my downbeat nystagmus patients. Can anyone help me with how you are prescribing and/or getting it approved? I’ve tried multiple specialty pharmacies and compounding pharmacies for 3,4-DAP but haven’t had any luck.

    Thanks so much!

I have had the same incredible problem with United Health Care. The patient failed baclofen and I am on my second appeal for this drug. The first appeal set me up with a pharmacist's technician and pharmacist. What ridiculous waste of my time. Neither of course even knew what downbeat nystagmus was.
