As I reflect on the past two years, in these final days of my presidency, I want to take a moment to recognize the remarkable people behind the meaningful work we've accomplished together. This time has been a period of change, growth, and learning for all of us.
Over this period, we successfully transitioned to a new meeting schedule and format-no small endeavor-while also welcoming an entirely new executive leadership team. That progress is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and collaboration of so many individuals.
I would especially like to recognize the outstanding efforts of Heather Moss, our President-Elect. Her leadership and determination were instrumental in making this transition successful. In less than six months, Dr. Moss brought together a new team and delivered what became our most highly attended and successful meetings to date.
She was joined by an exceptional group: our Executive Director, Jonathan Curry; Cheryl Bird, Development Manager; and Drew Reber, Meetings Manager. Together, they formed a cohesive and highly effective team. Thanks to Cheryl's tireless fundraising work with industry partners and through educational grants, we were able to keep registration rates flat for the fourth consecutive year. Drew ensured that every element of our meetings ran seamlessly and on schedule, contributing greatly to the overall experience. And throughout it all, Billy Atwell, our communications Manager, helped us share our story and keep our community informed and engaged.
I encourage you to thank each of them when you have the opportunity.
Looking ahead, I am excited for Dr. Moss's presidency and for the continued leadership of Dr. Ko, our incoming President-Elect, who has already made tremendous progress in planning our San Diego meeting. It is energizing to see the strong foundation we've built carried forward with such vision and momentum.
